Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and this is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. It’s a super mushy holiday and I’m a mushy type of gal. However, I’ve declined my tot candy since, day one. I know that the day will come when he decides to indulge in a king size kit kat but in the mean time, we’ve restricted him from candy to try and maintain those taste buds for as many fruits and veggies. as possible.
I’ve noticed that Calvin III taste buds are changing as he is introduced to new foods. He doesn’t eat as many bananas as he use to eat, steamed broccoli is becoming a thing of the pass and carrots are consumed far and few times in between. Every morning we start our tot off with a cup of milk and fruit. Either 20 blueberries, apples, pears or oranges. Throughout the day, he’ll request another orange or apple to snack on. My worst fear is that he will use his favorite word NO when it comes to veggies and fruits. I’m dreading that day, honestly, my goal is for that day to never, ever, come.
