Don’t you hate when your favorite lippie fades away. Especially, when you intentionally purchase the long-lasting wear but it wears off after an hour of wear or 3 sips of tea later. The key to long lasting lipstick is preparation, products and the perfect application. By following these easy steps, you will ensure to get longer lasting, vibrate pouty lips in no time. So, let’s jump right into it:
Easy Tips To Make Lipstick Last Longer
Get ride of all the dead skin on your lips using this scrub and a soft bristle toothbrush. Wipe the excess scrub off with your wash cloth and you are done.
Line Those Lips
Take the Everlasting Lip-Liner by KatVonDBeauty and line your lips before adding the lipstick. By lining your lips with a liner, it acts as a barrier to your lipstick allowing it to stay in its place without bleeding over the edges of your lips. Take a peek at the lipliner, here.
After applying your first layer of lipstick, take a piece of blotting paper and put it in between your lips. Blot the excess oil and product away. Clean and Clear has some awesome blotting sheets, here.
Lock that lippie into place with the translucent powder. Seal the color, take away excess oils and ensure the lipstick won’t fade. I use an inexpensive powder from NY, here.
Using your lip brush, ( an inexpensive one from elf, here). Apply your second coat of lipstick on top of your translucent powder. This is your last step in the process to have longer lasting lipstick.
