Kelly Rowland opens up and shares some of the most intimate dialogue with us. It’s almost like you are having a chat with your best girl-friend!
The Facts About Giving Birth
Dr. Tristan Bickman has delivered over 4,000 thousand babies over the past 17 years so, her expertise and knowledge of the concerns new moms have is excellent.
Kelly listened to her doctor and friends when they advised her to stay in the hospital as long as she could instead of rushing home. Dr. Tristan mentioned that many new moms feel that they can handle it on their own within 24 hours of delivering vaginally and request to be released. However, they tend to regret leaving the hospital and soon return with a ton of questions and concerns.
I’ll raise my hand here! After giving birth to our son, Calvin, we were so excited for his arrival that we asked to go home and start our life as a family the very next day. That was one of my first mistakes, the quiet baby sleeping peacefully turned into a screaming circus the first night. I wasn’t latching my son properly to feed, I was crying, he was crying, my husband was panicking, it was crazy!! LOL We ended up going back to the hospital the next day to see the lactation consultant again. If you are a new mom, or seasoned vet, stay as long as you are allotted and get the complimentary assistance you deserve.
Who Would Love This Book
This book was created for expecting mommies and new moms who’ve recently delivered. However, I have a 2 year old son and this book was an awesome read for me as well.
What Can Moms Learn?
Mommies can learn how to get rid of insecurities, postpartum depression, SEX, hormonal changes and so much more.
I don’t want to go into too many details of the book because it would create a spoiler, alert! I’m not into spilling the beans before you crack open the book. It’s refreshing to read about the experiences of mothering in a way many women tend to avoid speaking about. This sort of tell-all mommy guide is the best way to give ladies anticipating pregnancy, a raw perspective of the birthing experience as well.
