We loved the Paw Patrol Tour! Our son favorite cartoon characters are the infamous Paw Patrol. Lets just say that the marketing team over at Paw Patrol has a very clever way to get our kids attention which tends to get into our pockets, quicker. To be specific, we currently own several Paw Patrol merchandise, including: twin size sheet set, night light, stickers, color bookS, Marshall’s bubble blower, area rug with the Paw Patrol crew, reading bookS, garden gloves, underwear and I believe I’m missing one other item but you get the picture. We are Paw Patrol crazed so, when I learned about the Roll Patrol tour headed near the Chicagoland area, it was my duty as a parent to take him to hob nob with some of his favorite peeps. Those peeps included: Marshall, Rubel, Rocky and Zuma, along with some really fun activities. Here’s a recap of the fun:
Paw Patrol Tour
Upon entry my son immediately spotted the Paw Patrol themed cars! He impatiently awaited his turn and we selected the fastest self moving car we could find, hopped in, and he was on the GO. He loved it.
There’s nothing like meeting your favorite pups in person. Marshall and Rubel were extremely friendly as we approached the photo area to snag a memorable shot. Having the VIP Paw Patrol pass was a plus, as we had the opportunity to skip the long lines.
This primed area was filled with big screen tv’s, a doc for watch other “pups” a pretend sand castle area and a really cool slide.
New to us was this fun cartoon, Rusty Rivets! An animated series featuring young hero Rusty, who uses his imagination and resourcefulness to save the day when the need arises. We had the chance to visit the station and play with some of the toys and puzzle.
This really cool sand was so much fun to play with at the Paw Patrol event. Kinetic sand mimics the physical properties of wet sand. It’s made of 98% sand and 2% silicone oil.
Overall, we really enjoyed every moment of the well-organized and interactive Paw Patrol event. It was a delightful 95 degrees outside, which is unheard of in Chicago during late September. So, after perusing through the activities, taking photos with the Paw Patrol tour, we cooled off in the Toys R US store. Of course, we grabbed a new toy as well.
