Ro'Shunda on the RIU Plaza Chicago rooftop with the Chicago skyline behind her

Hey guys! October in Chicago is packed with reasons to get out of the house, and honestly? The lineup is stacked. Festivals, concerts, markets, live shows, and yes, a whole festival dedicated to Malort. Only in Chicago, right?

I pulled together the things that are actually worth leaving the house for this October. Some are free, some need tickets, and a few are the kind you will want to book ahead before they sell out.

Quick note: some of the links below are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you grab tickets through them. It costs you nothing extra and it helps me keep these roundups coming.
